Right now is the perfect time for you to become a member of the Lodge or to renew your membership! We are excited about the changes that are happening around our lodge and we would love to welcome you to everything that our Lodge has to offer. 

Members get the benefits of access to the firearms range year-round, as well as fishing in the Lodge pond.   

Membership fees are due at the first of the year. You can now submit your application electronically and pay via credit/debit card online if you wish.  Please fill out the digital form below and hit submit.  Once you submit your application, scroll to the top of the page and select the "more" button, then select "membership payment and store." Then, select the proper membership and make your payment. Once approved, you will be notified via email and your membership card will be in the mail.

If you would like to download the paper application and send a check in the mail with the application, you can do that as well. Please send updated membership form along with payment to:  FOP Lodge 84, PO Box 202, Shelbyville, IN 46176. 

​**Membership is a privilege and can be revoked at any time a member is found to be in violation of Lodge rules. All members must have their membership card with them at all times while on Lodge grounds and shall produce membership card if asked for proof of membership by any Active Lodge Member. This is only intended to discourage abuse by those who choose to trespass on Lodge property.**

Active membership (Current Police Officers Only):

The petitioner for active membership in the Lodge, must be a regular police officer, actually engaged in police work in a city, town, or state, and who is subject to the duly constituted authorities of such municipality, city, town, county, or state from which he/she receives compensation.

Associate membership:

NOTICE:  Effective Immediately - Associate members are NOT allowed to bring guests per Lodge insurance policy.  Everyone on the property not attending an event MUST be a member.  This includes use of the range and the pond.

INDIVIDUAL ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPS are available to any reasonable person, after having a background check completed, and approved by the FOP Officers, or by vote at the next monthly meeting, whichever happens first. Annual membership is $50.00 for a basic membership and $75.00 for a membership with range pass. 

We also now offer a FAMILY MEMBERSHIP that allows for the primary member to bring a spouse and any children living with them to shoot and fish. Cost is $150.

    This is to certify that I have completed the above application and agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #84.  Should my membership be revoked for any reason, I agree to return to the Lodge Secretary, the emblem and card furnished to me by Shelby lodge #84.

    Rules and Regulations for Associate Members of Shelby Lodge #84

    1. Members are required to have membership card/tag in their possession whenever using any facility at the F.O.P. property.
    2. Associate members are not allowed to bring any guests onto the property- Including Family members.  Each person must possess their own Individual membership or Family membership.
    3. Family membership will allow the member, spouse, and children living with the member to be on F.O.P. Shelby Lodge #84 property.
    4. Members are required to clean up after themselves before leaving the property, including all trash and brass.  Do NOT leave any cardboard or trash on the range.
    5. Any injuries that occur on the F.O.P. property must be reported to the Executive Staff as soon as possible.  If no executive staff is at the property of the time of injury, call the Shelby County Sheriff's Department or the Shelbyville Police Department to make the report.
    6. Vehicles must remain on the paved parking area at all times.  Absolutely no driving in the grass for any reason.
    7. No swimming in the pond at any time.
    8.  Absolutely no high-powered rifles are allowed to be used on pistol (south) range.
    9. Maximum shooting distance is 50 yards on rifle range (north range) and 25 yards on pistol range (south range).
    10. All rounds fired must come to rest in the dirt backstop.  DO NOT FIRE ANY ROUNDS OUTSIDE OF THE BACKSTOP!
    11. DO NOT fire any firearm if a person, animal, or object is closer to the target line than your shooting line.  Firearms must remain holstered or in a safe position until the firing line is clear.
    12. Range hours are 8am until dusk daily, unless otherwise posted.

    FAILURE TO OBEY THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP AND COULD LEAD TO CRIMINAL CHARGES.
